Mr. King M. Chittenden, of Waltham died Monday November 24, 2003 in the Leland Home, Waltham. He was 90.

Born in Hancock, a son of the late Harvey King and Anna (Morey) Chittenden, he was an engineer for the Raytheon Company in Waltham for 29 years. Mr. Chittenden lived in Pittsfield before moving to Waltham in 1946. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Waltham, a 1934 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and during World War II he served with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Chittenden was the husband of the late Ruth Helen (Jones) Chittenden and brother of the late Adeline Louise Chittenden and Susan French.

He is survived by his children, Wayne K. Chittenden and his wife Connie of San Carlos, CA, Roger L. Chittenden of
Waltham, and Amy R. Toran and her husband Daniel of Flourtown, PA; one brother, Rev. Hugh B. Chittenden of White Plains, NY; three grandchildren, Lynne Cassone, Jennifer Sargent and David Toran; and one great grandson, Gabriel King Cassone.

ARRANGEMENTS:
Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20) Waltham. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2 p.m.-3 p.m.

Burial will be private.
