Freenam C. Cook, 88, of Tipton, died at 4:23 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015, at I.U. Health Tipton Hospital. He was born August 25, 1927 in Bernie, Missouri to Claude and Sallie (McBroom) Cook. In 1946, Freeman married Marianna Maxfield and she preceded him in death in 2005.

He was a former Plant Manager at Chrysler in Kokomo. Freeman was in the United States Air force stationed in Amarillo, Texas. During his service in the United States Air Force, Mr. Cook served as an instructor and trainer on the care and maintenance of military aircraft. He was a devoted husband and father.

Freeman is survived by two granddaughters, Emily Watson-Cook, Lucy Watson-Cook, and their mother Jill Watson, all of Wilmington, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by two sons, Freeman Cook Jr., and M. Scott Cook.

Funeral services fr Freeman will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Collier presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton with Military Honors.
