MRS. WILLIAM BREWIN
Mrs. William Brewin, aged 46 years, died at the family home in the town of Plover at 4:30 Wednesday morning following an illness of five months. She had been confined to her bed for the last four months.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Gribling was born in the state of Ohio on February 18, 1871 and at the age of nine years went to Illinois with her parents.
She was married in 1891 at Lewistown, Ill., and shortly after her marraige resided near Canton, Ill. In 1912 she moved to Portage county with her husband and had made her home in the town of Plover since that time.
Mrs. Brewin is survived by her husband and four children as follows: Charles at home, Mrs. Mary Milleson of Farmington, Ill., Mrs. Blanche Holland of Buena Vista and Mrs. Carrie Coulthurst of the town of Plover. Five sisters and four brothers also survive. They are Mrs. Edward Webster and Mrs. George Crate of Spanaway, Wash., Mrs. George Peterson of Tulare, Cal., Mrs. Jake Seiber and Mrs. Alfred Seward of North Yakima, Wash., Henry of Grandview, Wash., John of Tulaire, Wash., and William who is located in Montana.
The funeral was held from the home on Friday afternoon of this week with burial at Plover cemetery.
