Don Weinman Dies Donald Eugene Weinman, 70, Council Grove, died this morning, Tuesday, October 18, 1994, at his home. He was born August 22, 1924, in Lincoln, Neb., son of Joseph Ephriam and Blanche Adel Freeman Weinman. Mr. Weinman was a graduate of Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medidne. He received his Masters Degree in Nutrition from the University of Georgia and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry. He taught at the University of Missouri, Kansas State University, Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Nigeria, and the Ross University in Saint Kitts, West Indies. He was a member of the Veterinary Corps during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Weinman was a member of the Marion Hill Lutheran Church, Council Grove Country Club, the Teddy L. Wilde Post No. 299 of the American Legion at White City, the Sigma Chi Fraternity, the National Association of Veterinary Anatomists, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and many honorary societies. He was married to Marian Landgraf July 23, 1944, in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Irene Weinman, Mansfield, Texas; two sons, Larry Weinman "Umar Abdal-lah" and his wife Samirah, Jed-dah, Saudia Arabia, and Billy Razz Weinman and his wife De-bra Sue, White City; a sister, Louise White and her husband Robert, Lincoln, Neb.; four grandchildren, Iman, Mvham-madun, Bashirah, and Matthew; and one great grandchild. Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at the Marion Hill Lutheran Church. Inurnment will follow at the Marion Hill Cemetery.
