Mrs. Jere Lynn Alford, 61, died Saturday, March 13, 2004, at the Ennis Regional Medical Center. She was born Dec. 30, 1942 in Dallas, the daughter of Gerald and Dorothy Harrison McGlocklin. She attended St. John and Ennis High schools. In March 1960 she was married to A.C. Wilkins of Sulphur Springs. On Sept. 25, 1997 she was married to Mike Alford. She was employed by the Ferris ISD as a bookkeeper and she ran a very successful Ebay auction business with her husband. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Mike, of Ennis; son, Bryan Wilkins of Myrtle Beach, SC, Craig Wilkins and his wife, Monica of West Palm Beach, FL and Scott Wilkins of Austin; stepson- Jerrod Alford of Norfolk, VA; stepdaughter, Cindy Sanders of Alma, TX; her father, George Graves of Ennis; a brother, Kevin Graves of Ennis; her mother-in-law, Ophelia Alford of Ennis; brothers-in-law, George Winn of Ennis, Jimmy and his wife, Edwinna Alford of Ft Worth; sisters-in-law, Helen and her husband, Mike Perry of Ennis, Barbra Pruitt of Waxahachie, Marilyn and her husband, Rick Jones of Ennis; and 6 grandchildren. Funeral services was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Keever Chapel with Rev. Fred Caldwell officiating. Interment followed in St Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
