Zeller -- Burials, 1895, December 27 -- Friedrick Ade, husband of Caroline nee Eberhardt, died December 27 after an extended illness of cancer of the liver. He was born October 11, 1847 at Canal Dover, Ohio, confirmed in the year 1862 in Dallas Twp. by Pastor Galster and married November 16, 1873 to his now surviving widow. This marriage produced 1 daughter and 2 sons. After failing health for 3 years, he became bed-fast for 9 weeks with increasing weakness and much pain. After having celebrated holy communion several days before, he died Friday, December 27, 1895 at 7 p.m. at the age of 48 years, 2 months and 17 days leaving his wife and 3 children. Funeral services were conducted from the church to the new cemetery.
