A. Christopher Warner, 52, of Westminster, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Born April 16, 1957, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Claude Thomas and Martha Jane Smith Warner. He enjoyed working and was formerly employed with EGS Masonry for 34 years and was a member of Local 74 Labors Union, Washington, D.C. Most recently he was employed as a safety inspector with the State of Maryland. He was proud to have obtained his GED in the past year. He was very active as a sponsor in Alcoholics Anonymous, not only as a recovering member, but also as a mentor to new members. He was also part of the K.I.S.S. program and for many years took AA meetings into institutions. He enjoyed nature, art, music and his truck. Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Sandra Warner-Dykes and husband Christopher, of Las Vegas; siblings and spouses Mary Jane Hooper, of Union Bridge, Florence and Bill Potter, and Kenneth Martin and Candy Warner, all of Frederick, Claude Thomas Jr. and Debbie Warner, and Barbara and Walter Martin, all of Walkersville, Lucille and John Clutter, of Berlin, Pa., Vanessa and Gary Hiltner, of Kearney, Neb., Ruben Michael and Beverly Warner, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and Patrick Nelson and Sharon Warner, of Boonsboro; fiancée Yolanda Feezer, of Westminster; former spouse Terry Warner, of Hanover, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Paul Hooper.
