Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery.
Mrs. Bretthauer was born Oct. 18, 1927, in Clarendon to Pearley and Ed Aduddell. She was one of the first women computer programmers for Pioneer Natural Gas and Diamond Shamrock. She was a member of the Desk and Derrick Club for years.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Griggs of Pearland and Carol Jane King of Austin; a son, Swift Lindley of Colleyville; six sisters, Nita Short, June Tucker, Joyce Cagle, Cinda Shuping, Glenda Chenault and Marie Shipley; four brothers, Bob Aduddell, Rex Aduddell, Dee Aduddell and Tex Aduddell; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
