WIFE OF FORMER LOCAL NEWSPAPER MAN DIES NEAR GREENFIELD – FUNERAL SATURDAY
Kenneth Glidewell, West Walnut street, received a telegram this morning telling of the death of his grandmother, Mrs. Rose Glidewell, which occurred at her home southeast of Greenfield at 7:30 o'clock Thursday evening. Mrs. Glidewell formerly lived in Greensburg, where her husband, W.H. Glidewell, was engaged in the newspaper business. Her husband published the New Era here over a quarter of a century ago.
Besides the husband the deceased is survived by three sons, Earl, Ivan and Carl, and two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Conner, of Detroit, Mich., and Angie Glidewell, a Catholic sister in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be held at Brookville tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and burial will be in the cemetery there.
