Col. Wilson Duggan, was a lawyer in Sevier County. He was licensed to practice law in December 1829 and practiced until his death in the 1870's. Wilson served as a representative to the Tennessee legislature in 1843-53 and 1865-67. Besides his extensive law practice, Col. Duggan owned a good farm and was a teacher in 1826-27. He was the son of Robert Duggan, and Margaret Dunn. Their children were: Reason Simeon, Lemuel, Pryor, Lisa, Jason, Margaret C. William H.H., Elizabeth, state Sen. Wilson L., and Robert Campbell.
