Services for Henry Johnson, 73, of Orange Grove, Tex. were held Monday afternoon at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Mollet, paster, officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetary under the direction of Tanner-Aulds Funeral Home. He died Friday in a Corpus Christi hospital.
Johnson was born March 2, 1915 in Magic City, Tex. He and Ruth Quarles were married on June 6, 1932, in Frederick, Okla. He was a retired farmer, and lived in Iowa Park several years, before moving to Orange Grove about two years ago.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, H.C. of Iowa Park, Bobby of Amarillo, Doug of Orange Grove and Darrell of Sandia; one daughter, Lajuana Vanek of Iowa Park, one brother, Daylon of Shamrock, one sister, Irene Williams of Amarillo, 15 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
