Services for Oscar Lewis Singleton, 61, were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Dutton Funeral Home. Dr. Derrell Monday, Pastor of First Baptist Church officiated. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Singleton died Thursday in a Wichita Falls hospital.
Born Nov. 18, 1930 in Spanish Fort, he had lived in Iowa Park more than 50 years, moving here from Electra. He was married to Leta "Lee" Lowry Sept. 16, 1980 in Burkburnett. Singleton owned and operated Singleton's TV & Communications in Iowa Park. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Elks Lodge No. 1105 and ABC Bowling Congress. He was a private pilot.
Survivors include his wife; one son. Bud of Iowa Park; one daughter, Debbie of Dallas; his mother, Pauline of Iowa Park; two sisters, Lila Sims of Iowa Park and Evelyn Hollingsworth of Vernon, and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Friendly Door Senior Citizens Building Fund in Iowa Park.
