Mrs. Everett Niles, 74, of Avon, died at 8:25 a.m. at Saunders Hospital following an illness of several months.
The former Caroline Standard was born July 12, 1889, in Avon. She was married in Prairie City Oct. 30, 1908, to Everett Niles. She worked with her husband who operated a feed store on Main Street.
Survivors, beside the husband, include a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Burch of Avon, and two sisters, Mrs Grace Hendrickson and Mrs. Zenna Richter, both of Galesburg.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Brand Funeral Home in Avon. Burial will be in the Avon Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
