TUPELO - Mozelle Price, 93, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born Dec. 25, 1912, in Marion County, Ala., to Traul and Linda Vickery. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Verona Church of Christ. An avid gardener, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, fixing flower pots for her daughters, and spending time with her family.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Cox officiating. Burial will be in Old Line Cemetery in Hodges, Ala.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Pilato of Birmingham, Ala., Sara Schweitzer and husband, Gordon, of Shannon, and Linda Dulaney of Baldwyn; five sisters, Wilma Adams of Tallahoma, Tenn., Genelle McDonald of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Tommie Lou Bates of Sheffield, Ala., Alapha Wiggington and Marvalene Young, both of Hamilton, Ala.; two brothers, Dorson Vickery and Wayne Vickery, both of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; nine grandchildren, Michael Wiggington, Rodney Wiggington, Joey Wiggington, Sammy Pilato, Thomas Pilato, Brenda Swinsick, Michael Dulaney, Johnny Miller and Deborah Riner; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Price; two daughters, Brenda Price and Deborah Ann Price; a son, Arnold Price; a grandson, Timothy Wiggington; three sons-in-law, Ray Dulaney, W.D. Wiggington and Sam Pilato; two sisters, Clara Young and Jewell Burleson; and two brothers, Ray Vickery and Bobby Vickery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Dulaney, Sammy Pilato, Johnny Miller, Rodney Wiggington, Eddie Swinsick, Rob Rogers and Bronson Miller.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Verona Church of Christ or Sanctuary Hospice House.
