Brandon, Jan 5 - Mrs. Milo W. Broeffle, 27, ill four months with cancer, died yesterday at 5:45 pm at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gates, residents of Homer township, Buchanan county. The Broeffle family lived here until a month ago when they went to stay at the Gates home because of Mrs. Broeffle's condition.
Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 the funeral services will be held here in the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Woodall. The burial will be in Brandon cemetery.
Etta Alma Gates was born in Buchanan county, Iowa, Feb. 15, 1909. She was married to Milo W. Broeffle in Independence Oct. 8, 1931. Two children born to his which are Lucille Wilma, four years old and Ronald William, two years. Besides her husband and children and her parents, there are two sisters and three brothers living including Mrs. Nellie Jacols? of Brandon, Mrs. Hattie Wilson and Arthur Emmett and Carl Gates, all of Rowley.
