Marcia Lee Huitt, age 70, of Hermitage, AR died Saturday January 2, at Bradley County Medical Center.

Born April 12, 1939 in Bradley County Arkansas. She was the youngest daughter the late Linus O'Dell Smith and Johnnie Lee (Landsdale) Smith.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Marsden Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her parents and Sisters
Iva Rene Hardesty,
Erna Lene Hales,
Theda V. Morman.
Suzette Huitt, her beautiful little Angel Grand-daughter also preceded her.


Survivors are her husband Robert "Bobby" Huitt whom she married June 15, 1956. One son Steve Huitt and wife, Cherrie, of Sparkman, Ar. One daughter Patricia Huitt of Camden, Ar. Several neices and nephews.

Funeral services were 1:30 pm, Monday, January 4, at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Waymon Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was the organist and soloist was Mike McDougald.

Burial was in Marsden Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Roger Huitt, Brian Huitt, Paul Braswell, Larry Don Baker, Donald Hamilton, Steele Hamilton,Grady Rawls, and Jimmy Morman.

Honorary Pallbearers were Byron Hamilton, Buddy Martin, Bobby McDougald, Eddie O'Neal, Dan Vickers, and Bobby Vickers.

I have to make the note that this daughter died on Jan. 02, 2010, as her Mother died died 18 years earlier on Jan. 02, 1991, and her first sister that passed 21 years earlier Jan. 02, 1989. Her husband's (Bobby) birthday is also on Jan. 02. This date is worn out for this family.
