Roscoe William Beahm Sr., 81, of Stanley, died on Sunday, Feb, 20, 2005, at MontVue Nursing Home.
He was born on Aug. 16, 1923, in Luray and was a son of the late John William and Naomi Blanche Sours Beahm.
Mr. Beahm was an Army veteran of World War II.
On Aug. 22, 1944, he married Mildred Mae Griffith, who died on Feb. 22, 2000.
He is survived by a daughter, Wanda Mae Viands of Stanley; three sons, Roscoe William Beahm Jr. of Stanley and Wendell K. and Darwin Gilbert Beahm, both of Luray;
10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 10 siblings.
Burial was in the Morning Star Lutheran Cemetery with military honors by the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621.
