L E Wolf died at the home of his daughter on March 21, 1941 and was buried at Sunset Hill cemetery in Warrensburg. Louis Ernest Wolf was the son of Annie**and Ernest Wolf and was born November 21, 1866 in St. Louis. He was employed by the Missouri Pacific Railroad in 1890 and continuously until his retirement in 1937. He was united in marriage in 1896 to Marie Schenck who preceded him in death in 1898. He was a member of the Holden Presbyterian Church and in addition to his daughter, Ida Mae, was survived by two half-sisters, Annie Wolf and Mrs. A E (Bertha) Coy and a half-brother, August Wolf, all of Holden.

**Note: Annie was his stepmother, his mother was Marie Hahne.
