On January 26, 2010 a press conference was held in Charlottesville to reveal that Morgan's skeletal remains had been found on a remote part of a 700 acre farm in Albemarle Co.
Morgan was a loving beautiful original. She was an avid music fan, and an advocate for children's rights. A Junior at Virginia Tech, she was preparing for a career in Education.
She was very much loved by her family, her friends, and her community.
Morgan is survived by her parents Dan and Gil Harrington and a brother Alex.
A Morgan Dana Harrington Memorial Scholarship has been established at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
