Parley, son of Thomas Houghton and Lydia Dunn, married Charlotte E. Dresser on 28 Mar 1846 in Thompson, Windham, Connecticut. They had four children: Lydia Jeannette b. 1849, Emma Gertrude b. 1857, Charles H. b. 1860, Martha P."Mattie" b. 1863. Charlotte died on 5 Apr 1896 in Upton, Worcester, Massachusetts. I assume she is buried next to him.
