Funeral services for Allen Kuykendall, 31, of Iowa Park, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church in Wichita Falls. Officiants will be Rev. James Harmon and Rev. M.F. Hankins.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park under the direction of Owen's and Brumley Funeral Home. The Wichita Falls Police Department will provide an honor guard at the funeral and to the cemetery. Kuykendall died Monday, January 3, at his home.

Born August 21, 1968, in Wichita Falls Kuykendall was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a Wichita Falls Police Officer, and had previously worked as a Police Officer for the Olney Police Department. He attended the Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Lori Kuykendall of Iowa Park and Sabrina Kuykendall of Olney; his parents. Rev.; Jarrell and Joan Kuykendall of Bowie; two brothers, Wayne of Iowa Park and Don of Holliday; one sister, Kathy Kuykendall Banks of Iowa Park; and a grandson.

The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening for visitation. Pallbearers will be members of the Wichita Falls Police Department Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be all Wichita Falls Police Officers.
