Mildred Hazel (Snell) Tunnell, 82, died Monday, April 1, 1966, at a Tarkio healthcare facility.
Mrs. Tunnell, born in McFall, Mo., on Dec. 13, 1913, graduated from the high school there. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in McFall.
In 1935, she married Charles H. Tunnell in Pattonsburg, Mo. They farmed at Pattonsburg and then moved to Shenandoah, Iowa in 1944 and continued in farming. In 1967, the Tunnells came to Tarkio. He died in 1966.
Mrs. Tunnell also was preceded in death by a son, Don; a daughter, Norma Eyman; two infant children; and a sister, Ethel Staten.
Surviving: five sons, five daughters, 41 grandchildren, and 45 great grandchildren.
Service: 1 p.m. Friday, Heath United Methodist Church, McFall. Burial: Heath Cemetery, McFall. Visitation: after noon Thursday at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Note: In 1935, Mildred was still married to her 1st husband. Her and Charles would not have been married until sometime in 1937.
