He was born Feb. 20, 1941, in Homer, Nebraska to Aage and Ellen (Nelson) Jensen. He served in the United States Navy from 1959 to 1963.
He married Helen Schlesener on October 22, 1965 in Huntsville, Alabama.
Raymond was a member and deacon of the Wilsey Christian Church, a member of the Wilsey Lion's Club, a volunteer firefighter, and vice-president of the Community Thrift Store. He was employed with Boeing Aircraft in Huntsville, Alabama and Renton, Washington, for 34 years as a mechanic inspector. He also worked on the aircraft, missile and boat programs.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cutting wood. He loved spending time with Helen and his family and working at the Church and the Community Thrift Store.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Bryce Jensen.
