May J. Richter, 79, a resident of Tennessee, Ill., for the past 11 years, died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 1991, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Born May 22, 1912, in Bethel, Mo., to William and Catherine Smith Fichel, she married A.J. Richter on June 15, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa.
He survives, along with three daughters, Shirley Pierce of Sneads Ferry, N.C., May Diehl of Bushnell and Judy Kay Ripple of Des Moines; five sons, Earl Morgan and Gerald Morgan, both of Des Moines, Frederick Morgan of Rock Island, James Morgan of Sikeston, Mo., and Robert Morgan of West Virginia; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three daughters, one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Corman Memorial Home, Avon. Calling hours will be from noon Sunday at the memorial home until time of services. Burial will be in Prairie City Cem
