Malcom Grant Weaver, 81, of Blanchester, died Sunday (Jan. 24, 2010) at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Morrow. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Renner Weaver of Blanchester.

Mr. Weaver was born Jan. 29, 1928, in Highland, son of the late George Lester Weaver and Mary Elizabeth McCoy. He was employed by Curliss Printing in Blanchester as a press operator from 1948 after his military discharge until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blanchester, Blanchester Senior Citizens, a trustee and Awana Club leader at First Baptist, and was a member of the Merchants Bowling League of Blanchester. He graduated in 1945 from Blanchester High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served from 1945 to 1948.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children; eight grandchildren; and three siblings.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde "Tink" Weaver.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at TUFT SCHILDMEYER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, the Rev. Jim Koerber officiating, with burial in Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Blanchester. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p..m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Awana Club at the First Baptist Church, 304 W. Center St., Blanchester, 45107, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, 45203.
