Death came at her home , 503 Hemlock Street, Sunday evening to Mrs. Mabel G. Bush, 66, Centralia resident 15 years. She was born December 11, 1876, at Marshland, OR.
Surviving are four sons, Carl Bush, Quinalt; Clarence, in Oregon, Forrest, serving with the army in Alaska, and Vernon, Centralia; four daughters, Mrs Jessie Tyler, Mrs Inez Soule and Mrs. L.J. Stricklin, all of Centralia and Mrs. Mable Faylor (sic), in Michigan; Two sisters, Mrs. Ines Warren, in California and Mrs. Louise Kent, Centralia; a brother, Tidon Graham, in Oregon; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The deceased was a member of the christian Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Stricklin chapel. The Rev. Earl H. Van Doren will officiate, and burial will be in the Greenwood Memorial
Park.
Mabel and Duncan were married on 09 Sept. 1894 in Columbia Co., OR. He preceeded her in death, however his body was never found.
NOTE: Marshland, Oregon is located in the Columbia County four miles west of Clatskanie along the Columbia River.
NOTE CORRECTION: Tidon's real name is: Samuel Jacob "Tilden" Graham. I discover this through family research.
Jus wanted you to know that the name of Tiden Grahan as Mabel's brother was a misprint. He always went by "Tilden" Graham -- with J. Tildem Graham or Tilden J. Graham (have to look that one up). Could you underscore the name Tilden in Samuel Jacob Tilden Graham to show that was the name he used and state that Tiden was a misprint. He never used the name Samuel ever to my knowledge. I think I saw it once as S. J. T. Graham, but never written out. "Note sent from Donna".
