Teresa Susanna Holben, wife of W F Holben died at her home in Mudlic, Wednesday, May 29, 1940, aged 72 years, 7 months and 14 days.

The daughter of William and Rebecca (Shaffer) Copenhaver, she was born October 15, 1867 in Red Bank Township, Armstrong County and was a life-long resident of that district.

May 30, 1884 she was united in marriage to W F Holben who, with three sons and two daughters, survives: W E Holben, Mudlic: E J and J F of Vandergrift; Mrs H B Geist of Mudlic and Mrs C W Wise of Oak Ridge. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters; Calvin S and William Holben of Pierce; Irvin of DuBois; Mrs John Yount of Hawthorn; Mrs Belle Campbell of Oil City and Miss Maude Copenhaver of Mudlic.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 pm from the Mudlic Evangelical church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. M R Tyson, assisted by Rev. C W Shields of Timblin.

Interment under the direction of Mortician H H Sloan of Hawthorn, was made in the Mudlic Cemetery.
