Son of Charles Anthoni Johnson Brooke.
Born Jul. 3, 1829 Burnham on Sea Somerset, England.
Died May 5, 1917 Gloucestershire, England.

And Queen Consort Margaret Alice De Windt Brooke. Born: 1849. Married the Second White Rajah of Sarawak. Sir Charles Anthoni Johnson Brooke. On October 28, 1869.
She was raised to the title of " Ranee of Sarawak, " with the style of her highness, Eurasian Royalty.
She arrived in Sarawak in the early 1870's.
Died: 1936

Oldest of Six Children:

Was the third and final White Rajah Vyner of Sarawak: Reign May 24, 1917 - July 1, 1946.

Served as Aide-de-Camp to his father 1897-1898
Following the death of his father,
Vyner succeeded on May 17, was proclaimed Rajah on May 24, 1917 at Kuching.
Took the oath before the Council Negri on July 22, 1918.

His early years as Rajah saw a boom in the Sarawak rubber and oil industries and the rise of the economy allowed him to modernized the country's institution, including public service, introduce the penal code, developed British India Lines in 1924.

Married: His Highness Sir: Rajah Vyner of Sarawak at Saint Peter Church, Cranbourne, Berkshire. On February 21, 1911.

Invested with the title of Ranee of Sarawak on May 24, 1917.
Grand Master of the Most Illustrious Order of the Star of Sarawak August 1, 1941. She died November 11, 1971.

Mother of Three Daughters:

1.) Leonora, called " Princess Gold, " married. The second Earl of Inchcape.

2.) Elizabeth, called " Princess Pearl, " married: Harry, a young Jewish Band Master.

3.) Daughter Valerie Nancy, called " Princess Baba " Brooke. Born Dec. 18, 1915 London Greater London, England. Married Robert Gregorie, a Middle Weight Wrestler of Europe.
Died Aug. 19, 1993 Seminole Pinellas County, Florida,

Actress and youngest daughter of Sir Charles Vyner de Windt Brooke (1874-1963), last British Rajah of Sarawak on the island of Borneo ( Now part of Malaysia. )

Appeared in two films "The Charge of the Light Brigade" (1936) and "You Can't Cheat an Honest Man" (1939).

Valerie Nancy "Princess Baba" Brooke passed away in 1993.
