Blanchard M. Hall
Blanchard M. Hall, 71, of 708 Cumberland Ave. died at 11:25 P.M. yesterday in Jameson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born at Neshannock Falls March 3, 1894, to the late Samuel and Esther Shaw Hall. He was married to the former Mae Smith, and retired in 1959 from the Pennsylvania Engineering Corp. Mr. Hall was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 455, of New Castle.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters Mrs. Evelyn Miller of New Castle and Mrs. John (Norma) Vitril of Wampum; a son, George of New Castle; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Keeling of New Castle and Mrs. Leota Abbott of Leavittsburg, Ohio, five brothers Marshall of Southington, Ohio, Clarence of Baltimore, Ernest of El-Dorado, Kan, Perry of New Castle and Merle of Lockwood, Ohio; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Floyd in 1945, and a sister, Mrs Nellie Pisor. The family will receive friends at the John A. Meehan Jr. Funeral Home, Highland and Lincoln avenues, from 7 to 9 P.M. today and tomorrow. The service will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday in the Funeral home with Rev. Elwin Gee of First United Brethren Church officiating.
Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Cemetery.
