"KIDWELL, RECTOR THOMAS--70, passed away Wednesday, 4:30 p. m. at his home at Corryton. Survivors: wife, Vanda Loy Kidwell; sons, James and Mack, Corryton, H. G., Blackstone, Va., Addie of Toledo, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Beulah Nance, Mrs. Edna Goin, Knoxville, Mrs. Adell Frazier of Blackstone; brothers, W. H. of Heiskell, Garrett of Kokomo, Ind.; sisters, Mrs. Vesta Allen, Mrs. Bessie McCoy, Maynardville, Mrs. Stella McMurray, Knoxville, Mrs. Beatrice Oakes, Mascot, Mrs. Lou Verne Watson, Luttrell, Mrs. Iva Farris of Detroit, Mich. The body is at the home of his son, James, of Corryton. Services 2 p. m. Friday at Clapp's Chapel Church, Rev. McKinley Oakes and Rev. Luther Loy officiating. The body will lie in state one hour before services. Pallbearers: Swan Kidwell, Buddy Kidwell, Ray Goin, Jerry Nance, Clifford Loy, George Kidwell. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery. Holley's, Clinton, in charge."
