Bobbie Jo Junkin Adams, age 80, of Avalon, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at Baylor Scott & White, Waxahachie. She was born July 30, 1936 in Ennis, Texas to Robert Lee and Ruby Louise Junkin.Bobbie grew up in Ennis. Along with her husband, James, she ran J & R Feed in Italy for 8 years and also worked for the Italy Day Care for 21 years. Bobbie had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Italy for over 20 years. She enjoyed bingo and cooking for her family. Bobbie was loved by her family and many, many friends. Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Don Adams and wife Diane and Ronald Dean Adams and wife Donna all of Avalon; grandchildren, Dana Adams, Judy Kern and husband Chad, Jimmy Don Adams,Jr. and wife Jenni, Brandi Knott and husband Barry, Rachel Ray and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Trenton, Karleigh, Reagan, Tatum, Trevor, Jaxon, Jamison, Owen, Grayce, Addison, Ainsley, Carter and Bradleigh and one great-great granddaughter, Addy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 36 years, James T. Adams; granddaughter, Darla Jo Adams and great grandson, Landon Fewin. Visitation for family and friends was 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy. Funeral services was at 11 AM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy with Reverend Ronnie Dabney officiating. Interment followed at the Italy Cemetery.
