Believe this is Christopher Meaders, b. 12 May 1808 in Franklin Co., GA, d. 20 Nov 1887 in White Co., GA. He married Candace Garrison (1811-1893). They had 12 children.


The other White County pottery dynasty, of course, is the Meaders family. Its first representative was Christopher Columbus Meaders, who in 1848, at the age of forty, exchanged his property in what is now Banks County for a parcel of land at Mossy Creek. There he became a prosperous drygoods merchant and farmer, and was soon the wealthiest man in the district..."
