Sometime before 1905 Daisy married James Madison Womack, Jim, and they settled in DeKalb County, AL. Jim died in May of 1912 leaving Daisy with five small children.
Daisy helped George Henry Quinn nurse his sick wife until her death in 1914. Soon after the death of his wife George married Daisy and became the father to her children. Daisy and George had three children of their own.
Daisy died in August of 1937 and was laid to rest next to Jim at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in DeKalb County, Alabama.
Daisy was a wife and mother and some of her descendants, both Womacks and Quinns, honor her by gathering each year for a reunion.
