Millicent Aaronson, widow of Tulsa civic leader Alfred E. Aaronson, died Friday in Swarthmore, Pa. She was 94. The Aaronsons were married in New York City in 1915. Aaronson was known primarily as a business leader until his retirement in 1957. At that time, the Aaronsons decided to devote themselves to civic projects. Aaronson led the drive for a metropolitan library and served as first chairman of the City-County Library Commission. He was active in Friends of the Library and the library's Aaronson Auditorium is named after him. Graveside services for Mrs. Aaronson are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Rose Hill Cemetery. Fitzgerald Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Grace Goldin of Swarthmore, Pa., and Alice Zlotnick of Bronx, N.Y.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
