Mr. Groberg was born May 27, 1884, in Lynn Ward, Five Points, Ogden, a son of John and Johannah Larsson Groberg. He had lived in Farr West since 6 years of age.
On Jan. 19, 1910, he was married to Martha Hermine Rasicot in the Salt Lake Temple. She died April 22, 1962.
He had been a farmer and an insurance agent for the State farm Mutual Insurance Co. and Bear River Insurance Co.
A member of the Farr West Ward, he had held offices in the MIA and had been a member of the finance committee and chairman of the amusement committee. He had served as president of the Farr West Farm Bureau and vice president of the Weber County Farm Bureau. He helped organize the Weber Central Dairy Association and served as director and helped organize the Utah Poultry Association. He had also been shipping agent for the Farmers Vegetable Growers Association. He had been a member of the Farr West Dramatic Club.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Theo L. Thompson, president of the Farr West Stake, officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to services.
Interment in Ogden City Cemetery.
