MANNING-Jan 23, 1903, Francis P. Manning, beloved husband of Maggie Manning and son of Thomas and Annie Manning. Relatives and friends of family are invited to attend funeral, Monday morning 9 o'clock, from his parents' residence, 2635 Christian. Solemn requiem Mass at St Anthony's Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

He also was a comic in the Mummer's Parade every New Years Day.


No headstone on this grave. His second child (Marie) was born 3 months after his death. He left behind a son named Francis Rodgers Manning who was born in 1900.


Son of Thomas F Manning & Annie Dougherty Manning. Baptized Francis Patrick Manning on May 27, 1877 by Rev J.A. Logue in St Teresa of Avila Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His sponsors were Peter Himpsey and Mary Dougherty.


There is a Joseph A Farrell (1902-1912) buried in this grave but there is no family relation. The widow of Frank Manning was a neighbor of the Farrell's and offered this grave to the family who could not afford a burial when Joseph died.
