The remains of Aaron Gingrich of Bentonville,Ark. arrived here yesterday noon from that place and were removed to the home of F.O.Damrow, 632 W.Prairie ave. where the funeral will be held this after noon at 2:30 oclock.
Mr.Gingrich met a sudden death at his home on last Saturday while at work on a building. He missed his footing and fell to the ground receiving injuries which resulted a short time later in his death. The deceased was well known in this city having formerly lived a few miles east of Decatur. His health became poor and he went to Bentonville, in 1884 where he purchased a big farm. The deceased was an old solider having served during the war in Company G, 9th Pennsylvania cavalry.
He is survived by his wife and four children, three sons and one daughter. Two of his sons, Jesse and Frank Gingrich reside in this city. The deceased was also a brother in law of Mrs. F.O.Damrow.
The funeral services this afternoon will be conducted by the members of Dunham Post.
