Graduated from Rush Medical Center, Chicago Illinois class of 1886. Married Martha G in 1898. He was employed by the government for a time, living on the Coeur D'Alene Indian Reservation, Kootenai, Idaho. Sometime after 1902 he and his family settled in Anacortes, Washington. He practiced in both Anacortes and Coupeville, WA.
