Harold J. Ridall (1922-2010)Harold J. Ridall of Mehoopany died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, in Towanda Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Shickshinny on Oct. 11, 1922, son of the late Earnest L. and Rebecca Shaw Ridall.
Harold was a graduate of Shickshinny High School and prior to his retirement he worked as a carpenter and lumberman and served as Pastor of the Lovelton Bible Church from 1972 to 2001.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Gaylord; and sisters: Maude Dauthat, Cora Herold, and Margaret Johnson.
Surviving is his wife of 64 years, Wilma Johnson; sons: Van of Mehoopany, Terry of Retta, Earnest of Jenningsville, Mark of Mehoopany and Harold Jr., of Meshoppen; brother Roy of Benton; sisters: Amy Ridall of Benton, Jean Conger of Benton, Marion Schultz of DuBoistown, and Kathleen Crispell of Waverly, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning, Jan. 26, from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock with Mr. Richard Darling officiating.
Interment will be in Jersey Hill Cemetery, Jersey Hill.
