Born Jan. 9, 1909, in Mosgrove, she was a daughter of the late John L and Cora (Slagle) Lockhart.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Butler and the Eastern Star.
Her husband, Perry J. Fry died on July 16, 1965.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edward G. (Violet) McNamara of Chino, CA; Mrs. Carl (Vivian) Roofner of Worthington and Mrs. John (Carolyn) Veleno of Pinellas Park, FL; one son, Ronald Fry of New Brighton; four sisters, Mae Masters of Templeton, Helen Atherton of Templeton, Mildred Atherton of Templeton RD1, and Fern Coe of St. Petersburg, Fl; four brothers, W. Earl Lockhart of Templeton RD1, John (Steve) Lockhart of Rural Valley, Fred Lockhart of Templeton, and Harold Lockhart of Ft. Myers, FL; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters, Edna I. Butler Cloak, Clarence J. Lockhart, Wilford Lockhart, Kelly G. Lockhart and Rayburn F. Lockhart.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 26, 1982 at the John R. Kennedy Funeral Home, Kittanning at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William A Ditty, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Butler officiating. Burial will be in Ford City Cemetery.
