Clifton E. Goins Jr. 21, of Georgetown died Monday morning at the Medical University Hospital in Charleston South Carolina from injuries he had sustained from an automobile accident.

Mr. Goins was born in Loris on February 8, 1950, a son of Clifton E. Goins, Sr. and Mrs. Emily Wall Goins. He was a graduate from the Andrews Schools and had lived in or near Georgetown most of his life.

Mr. Goins served his country honorably in the United States Army excelling to the rank of Sergeant within one year while in Vietnam. Once returning state side Sergeant Goins completes his two year enlistment in service.

Since his return from military service he had been employed with the Woodland Division of the International Paper Company. And was a member of the Bloomingvale Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at the Bloomingvale Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating was the pastor, Reverend Artemus Lambert.

Burial followed in the Sampit Methodist Church Cemetery; under the direction of Mayer Funeral Home.
