C. Mary (Olivieri) Frongillo of Newport, R.I., died Friday in Village House Convalescent Home, Newport, after a long illness. She was 70.

Mrs. Frongillo was born in Watertown, MA and attended public schools there. She came to Newport in 1960 and lived there until her death.

She was a member of the Rosary and Altar Sodality of St. Augustin's Church, Newport.

She leaves her husband, Frederick Frongillo; two sons, Frederick Jr. of Houston, TX., Michael of Kileen, TX, and a daughter, Judith of South Kingstown, RI.

Her funeral service was held on Sunday in St. Lucys Church, Middletown, RI. Burial was at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI.
