Funeral was Thursday at Gilliam Springs Baptist Church, Rev. J.A. Smallwood and Rev. Hobart Miller officiating. Burial was in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
A native of Randolph County, Mr. Harvell lived in Arab Community most of his life.
Survivors are three sons, Billy Harvell, Birmingham, and Edward and Ray Harvell, Arab; six daughters, Mrs. Jewell Ellenburg, and Mrs. Opal Smalley, Arab, Mrs. Wanda Gilbreath, and Mrs. Virginia Norrell, Guntersville; Miss Hattie Harvell, Albertville, and Mrs. Peggy Brown, Huntsville; two brothers, Tom Harvell, Arab, and Bob Harvell, Bowdon, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Janie Lovvorn, Bowdon, Ga.; 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
