Mary was born in Dessau, Texas, the daughter of Frank Sr. and Karoline Melber Prinz and moved to Richland at an early age. Her siblings were Bertha Gebert, Emma Wiruscheske, Frank Jr., Alfred, Pauline Hamann, Otto, Caroline Anderson, Alma Hennig and Gus. She was confirmed and married in the St. John's Church. Mary married August Mueller and their children were Sophie Young, Alfred, Bertha Vice, Lydia Blanchies, Arnold and Marilyn Mueller. Mary was a faithful member of the St. John's Church and served on the flower bed committee of the Richland Frauen Verein for many years.
