She was born Aug. 7, 1902, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Karl and Hermina Radkie Wendland.
She formerly had lived in Salem and had been a homemaker and a member of the Paradise Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Carl Tohm, whom she married Dec. 11, 1920, died Nov. 26, 1969.
She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Doris Weber of Canfield; Mrs. Ruth Greier of Boardman, Marilyn McLaren of Mars, Pa., and Mrs. Janet Sullivan of Salem; five sons, Fred Tohm of Spokane, Wash., Bruce Tohm of Miami, Fla., Glenn Tohm of Boardman, Raymond Tohm of Lisbon and Gary Tohm of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Park of Youngstown and Mrs. Mata Mix of Chesterland, Ohio; two brothers, Andrew Wendland of Boardman and Albert Wendland of Beloit, 28 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
