Willard Freeland Eads was the second child of Oscar Wall Eads and Mary Ann Deckard Eads. He grew up on Allens Creek Indiana, and attended Allens Creek School. He was a Sargent first Class in the United States Army and served in World War II. He married Eva Murphy 12-31-1948.

He was survived by one daughter Barbara Ann Eads Terrell and three grandchildren Jacob, Matthew, and Emily Terrell.
