"Ruth R. Sensenig, 85, of 30 Glenwood Drive, Ephrata, PA, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at her home. Born in Caernarvon Twp., she was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Rebecca (Martin) Gehman. She was married to the late Isaac K. Sensenig, who died April, 2007. She was a member of the Denver Mennonite Church.
She is survived by three sons: Mark G., husband of Ellen (Horning) Sensenig, Ephrata, PA; Luke G., husband of Sharon (Bauman) Sensenig, Reinholds, PA; James G., husband of Linda (Witmer) Sensenig, Danville, PA; and two daughters, Lois G., wife of Joseph B. Keener, Lititz, PA; and Rhoda M., wife of John D. Eby, Newburg, PA; thirty-seven grandchildren and sixty-five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lydia wife of the late Ivan Hoover, Myerstown and Verna, wife of the late Moses Weaver, Ephrata.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Isaac Ray Sensenig, husband of Mary Ann (Hursh) Sensenig, also deceased, two grandsons; one brother, Martin Gehman, and two sisters, Marion Gehman and Esther, wife of Willis Horst, Lititz.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10 AM at the Denver Mennonite Church, with Bishops Harold Good and Wilmer Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Monday (TODAY) from 1 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Kindly omit flowers. The Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill is in charge of arrangements."
