Born August 6, 1941 in Widnoon, Madison Township, Armtrong County, he was the son of Paul D (Casey) and Thelma A. (Toot) Miller Adams.
He married Nancy Wilson on April 14, 1967. She survives.
Mr. Adams was an employee of Conrail. He was a member of the Widnoon United Methodist Church, Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen Local 40, Eagles Club and American Legion of New Bethlehem. Mr. Adams was a veteran of the Vietnam conflict, serving with the Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Scott Wilson of Punxsutawney; three daughters, Ramona Kelly of Rimersburg RD 1, Shelly Wolfe of Templeton RD 2 and Jerri Adams of Dayton; five grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Adams of Templeton RD 2, Kenneth Adams of Eldred and Ronald Lee Adams of New Bethlehem RD 1; two sisters, Mrs. Terry (Lois) Brown of Shelocta and Mrs. Larry (Ruby) Kriebel of New Bethlehem; and his mother-in-law, Helen E Phelps of Titusville.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a grandson.
Friends were received at the Charles D Alcorn Fuenral Home, Hawthorn. Funeral services were held at the funeral home at 11 am Tuesday, April 21, with the Rev. Thomas Himes of the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Beautiful Lookout, Armstrong County.
