INGLESIDE - James Frank Upton died yesterday at his home after a long illness.
He had been a resident of Ingleside since 1929. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was employed by Reynolds Metals Co.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Upton; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Pruitt of Aransas Pass, and Mrs. Louise O'Farrell and Miss Elizabeth Upton of Ingleside; a son, James, of Aransas Pass; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Upton of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mrs. H.L. Gristy of Aransas Pass and Mrs. A.H. Ewald of Corpus Christi, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Cage-Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, with Rev. Shelby Ross of Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Prarie View Cemetery.
