Born June 3, 1905 in Porter Township, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Alice Shanafelt Shankle.
She was married May 6, 1925 to John M. Alexander, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Alexander was a member of the New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Bonnie) Morrison of Maple Heights, Ohio, five grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral servies were held in the Robert F Mateer Funeral Home, New Bethlehem with the Rev. T. Donald Hamilton officiating.
Interment was in the New Bethlehem Cemetery.
